About this Blog

It's not exactly a state secret that I believe that the Board looks at the world through rose-colored glasses and filters information presented to the Owners through those glasses. I've modeled this Blog after The Wall Street Journal's editorial page. Just as the WSJ points out issues with the governance of our country. I'll point out issues I have with the governance of our Club. My favorite boss used to say that you could be against anything you want, but the price of criticizing was to offer an alternative. I'll endeavor to offer a "better idea" whenever I question the actions of the Board.

I provide inconvenient facts that may not have been included in the Board's communications to the Owners and I present my analysis of those facts. I try hard to be factually accurate and I promise to correct any factual errors I make. The opinions, of course, are my own. You can agree or disagree with my opinions--but you'll have a better understanding of each issue after you've considered all of the information available to you.

I've told about 15 friends and acquaintances about this Blog. Blogger.com provides metrics about people who read this Blog. To date, I have posted 12 essays and there have been over 2,200 views (one person reading one post). About 160 individuals have read at least one post (some people must have accessed a post more than once). So quite a few people have heard about this Blog and have taken the trouble to read at least some of my thoughts (rest assured that I understand that not everyone agrees with me).

I only post when I have something to say, and I'm learning as I go along--this is the first time I've dabbled in writing a Blog. Yesterday, I enabled a feature where you can "follow" this Blog. I think that "following" provides you notice when I post a new entry (but I could be wrong--I'm not really a tech guy). If you want to read new entries, please "follow" me. Or not.

If you're reading this post, it's because you took the trouble to come to this Blog. Thank you--I'm happy you're here and I hope you'll consider the points I make. You certainly don't have to agree with me. But even if you disagree with what I have to say, you'll have been exposed to another point of view and will better understand why you disagree with me. Well informed Owners make better decisions for our Club.
